According to the company's SEC filing, intruders (that the company referred to as “likely a cybercrime group”) accessed personally identifiable information on the company's network. Frontier's filing goes on to say that the incident impacted network operations as they “initiated [their] previously established cyber incident response protocols.” The filing says nothing about if or how the attackers used their access to the company's store of PII. Ultimately the company does “not believe the incident is reasonably likely to materially impact the Company’s financial condition or results of operations.”
